k im doing a report on different religions and i would like to know your opinion or input on salvation and how it is obtained

Salvation is defined as the soothing relief achieved by the application of a salve.
So, it is obtained with a little Jergens, not Jesus.

Salvation is called enlightenment in many religions.
Wisdom and knowledge of God preclude sin and automatically forgive what we call sin.
Salvation is obtained when your heart is at peace.
Enlightenment is obtained when your mind is at peace.
Easy !
You are made up entirely of God stuff, we all are ...we just don't know it cause we're concerned about worldly things like survival, no wonder... it's hard to understand when you're just surviving.
Buddhism will tell you, and I agree, that you have to give up false pride, and your very ego to find peace.
Christ tells us that we are all part of the same Father, brothers and sisters ... and we are! Just Love ... that's us. OK
I don't want to say anything about Mohammedanism cause all its
best qualities, like brotherhood, are being destroyed by the actions of fanatic terrorists. The religion is destroying itself because of the stupidity of its fanatics.
Lao Tsu says ... relax, the universe will survive. The way of the Tao is true action when you understand.
There are many religions that I didn't cover but they all amount to the same thing. Love .. each other. Wake up to who you and we are.

I'm a Hindu and I believe that salvation can be obtained in more than one way. One may obtain it by loving devotion to God, or through attainment of spiritual knowledge (but that has to be put into practice), or by meditation and spiritual yoga, or by devoting all of ones actions to God, or of course, by all of these things. I don't believe that people go to hell so it is not salvation from hell that people are obtaining, but a union with God.

I practice shamanism, reiki, motivational coaching etc - salvation comes from stepping from a pathway of doom, gloom and victim state onto the path of joy and happiness. Salvation is shifting from low vibration to a high vibration. Salvation is coming from a state of disbelief in the divine whole to an acceptance of Great creator into ones life. Salvation is recognizing that there IS eternal life. AND Salvation is so much more..............

I believe we obtain salvation if we try to be the best of ourselves on this dimension - helping people, loving G-d and obeying the law - .

Salvation is obtained simply but believing in the Lord Jesus Christ and accepting him as your Lord and Savior by being baptized in the name of Jesus.

You tell Jesus your all sins, ask his forgiveness, then ask him to come into your heart for salvation. There's Bible verses to read along with this, and you pray the sinners prayer.

and I ask You to cleanse me of all unrighteousness.
I believe that Your Son, Jesus, died on the cross

Ask Jesus to come into your heart and let Him lead you. If you believe in God, His Son, and the Holy Spirit and ask to be saved, then you will have salvation. That is what I believe.

I'm Wiccan. There is no salvation that needs to be obtained in Wicca. You pay for whatever you do wrong during your lifetime, not any other. And everyone is welcome to believe as they wish so long as they do not violate "Harm None".

My idea is that God is perfect and for this reason could not create anything that was not perfect.
If this is the case then the idea of salvation is a misconception. Why would we need to be saved from perfection?
