I get them a lot too, mainly where my face collects the most sweat! They are called milia, which are little balls of protein beneath the skin that do not have a pore, or hole in the skin through which to escape. These are not whiteheads which contain fat. I have taken a sterile pin and poked a hole in them, but I have mostly left them alone. I do use proactiv though, which seems to really help.

They are called whiteheads. Drink more water and wash your face with a face wash that include benzoyl peroxide, twice a day, every day. Don't expect immediate results, you need to follow this routine for at least of couple of weeks.

It may be as simple as a fungus, treatable with anti-fungal, or even Head and Shoulders.
