Is this type of behavior healthy or normal?

I am not talking about supernatural imaginary friends. And I do not believe that God is imaginary. But this is not the time to argue for God's existence. I am talking about where John or Sue (as adults) have human "friends" that they converse with, think about daily and attribute real activities to--with all seriousness.

It is a stress reliever for them. Some people have friends none of us can see, some people even talk to walls. A simple and easy way for them to relieve stress.

And, no, no one is there. They are just using their imagination to help them get thru the day.

Uhhh.... Phil... I don't know how to tell you this, but He's not imaginary. Until you experience a couple of miracles, I wouldn't expect you to believe it, but I experienced two in the past year. I should be dead now, but I'm here despite what doctors might have you believe. Since it was a good friend's prayers that saved me from certain doom, I would have to say that God is not imaginary. At least not in a believer's heart.

I'm glad to know it's not just me.

I'll talk to someone as though they are there when I'm on a fairly long drive to my friends' house. I guess it helps me work out my problems.
