I have never personally tried it and the only reason is because I met my husband before it became so popular. But, I can tell you, I know a LOT of people it has worked for. I mean, I don't know that many people, but a lot of people I do know are with someone they met online. I even know two couples that are now married because of online dating, I think both actually went through match.com.
If I were ever single again, I would do online dating. I mean, you really can't meet your future wife/husband in a bar; well, I know it's worked before but online gives you the ability to meet someone without beer goggles and the weird, does he want what I want, if he does is he even my type or is he full of it? I mean, these sights ask people questions about what exactly they're looking for, so you know off the bat that this person would be willing to be in a committed relationship or they are just looking for sex.
Good luck, I think you should try it.

I've tried it met a few crazies and met a few decent girls..I guess it's no different then real life so to speak..
Just make sure if you come off talkative online.. You better be that way when you meet the girl ..otherwise that won't go very far.

Well, I sort of tried it. My man and I met here on "answers." We emailed for a while then IMed for another week. We finally decided to meet and have been together ever since. We got to know each other through at least 4 hours of IM each day. When we finally met we fell in love at first sight. He is my true soul mate and my partner for ever.

I wouldnt even think about trying online dating because alot of predators and stuff are on the internet and plus if your talking to someone on the internet and they say they are your age then they might even be like 10!!!!!

once you get attatched to someone its so problematical to not be with them bodily. I dont recognize if youd be on line courting with locals yet when its lengthy distance that is the hardest ingredient you've gotten to undergo. You wont get to be with them, hug, kiss, cuddle, something as a lot as youd like. its hard in my opinion. Plus, people can act one way on line then be a finished diverse human being in genuine existence. identity keep on with assembly people organically, head to head.

It will help you with your confidence but yet in a way there has to be a lot of confidence in believing of who you are chatting with, for example: age, sex, and other factors so either way you are going to need some sort of confidence.

online dating= wrong! when you do go meet them in person, it will be very awkward. i bet 90% of the online people are rapists, murders.. etc. you can't really trust them. if i were you i'd sack up and try to meet someone through a friend, someone that someones knows and you can gradually talk and whatever
