It is not good for you, probably does not stunt your growth. Sweet soda can be addicting. And it can probably cause sugar diabetic. That's what happened to my brother in-law. He could not leave the sweet sodas alone. And never drank water or milk.

Large amounts of caffeine from soda or other sources can inhibit the ability of the bones to absorb calcium. So for every Coca-cola you drink every day you should drink at least one glass of milk.

It doesn't as far as I know, however any carbonated beverage can wear on your bones reducing their density (or how thick they are) making them more brittle and easier to break.
