Your state must have a High Risk Pool, otherwise you could not be turned down. You can get health coverage there. However, impacted wisdom teeth are covered under dental insurance, not health insurance. Health insurance only comes into play with teeth if you have an injury to sound teeth. For example, you are playing baseball, and get hit in the mouth by a bat. That would be covered under medical or accident insurance. Also, you won't have coverage since you already have the problem unless you get on a good group dental plan. They sometimes don't have waiting periods for new enrollees for major dental services. Good luck.

I am not sure what state you live in, but here in California I would suggest you look into the California Major Risk program, additionally if you quit your full time job and lost your benefits you were probably offered Cobra benefits- if you still have that offer from Cobra, I recommend you elect Cobra. If Aetna, Blue Cross and Blue Shield has turned you down, I would not expect any legitimate health insurance company to offer you coverage (at least Individual coverage). I might also suggest you go get a part time job at a place like Starbucks that offer health benefits to part timers.
Remember California Major risk will accept everyone in California who have been turned down for healthcare, when you call they will tell you currently they have a 3month waiting period, but it has been my experience that it really is about 60days, so apply quickly.

something that forces persons to take duty for his or her own lives is nice. even with the undeniable fact that, through fact that is a sturdy thought, that is going to on no account fly. thrilling which you asked a healthcare question. My bones are nevertheless chilled from a verbal replace I had with an lawyer at artwork as we talk. i will proportion it with you. He was a scientific malpractice protection lawyer, and he become employed with the help of a malpractice coverage employer to defend a doctor against a case filed with the help of a former affected person who had more advantageous diabetes and hence went blind through his unregulated blood sugar. listed below are the data: a million. The physician, an M.D., is from China. He become born and raised there, yet he went to scientific college contained in usa. 2. The physician practiced on a nicely-prevalent street in Detroit. The sanatorium's affected person inhabitants become ninety 9 % black human beings, all of whom have been the two working class or on welfare. 3. The physician knew that his affected person had diabetes, yet he did not tell him. extremely, he informed the guy back to the sanatorium as quickly as a month to have his blood drawn. the guy might generally come, not consistently, and based upon the blood sugar examining the physician might regulate the guy's insulin. He on no account informed the affected person he had diabetes, merely that he mandatory medicine for his blood sugar. 4. After approximately 5 years of this scientific care, the guy went blind, and he sued the physician for malpractice. ok, so what's the difficulty, different than the reality the physician did not persist with the often happening of look after treating diabetes? The lawyer asked the physician, who become his customer he had to defend, why he dealt with the guy's diabetes like he did. The reaction from the physician: "he's a black guy, he's uneducated, he merely supplies you mail for a living, and he's the fashion of guy or woman who won't be state-of-the-paintings sufficient to nicely known the thank you to administration his blood sugar, and regardless of if he become clever sufficient, he would not do it besides through fact he's an uneducated blue collar worker." So what did the lawyer do? He recommended the physician's malpractice coverage service to settle the case right this moment, and that they did, for the optimal quantity the physician's coverage coverage allowed. So there circulate. that's the mentality of communist medicine. And that is coming to usa. it would take a era, even with the undeniable fact that that is coming. And it chills my bones and sickens my abdomen.

I would check with the government concerning the insurance denying coverage. A knee injury just doesn't seem like a serious, chronic condition like asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. to be considered a high risk to deny coverage based on a pre-existing condition.
