is people of the UK afraid of losing their identity ???

Question

i been reading this a lot lately , could u explain why is people from the United Kingdom afraid and what are they afraid of ???

i want to add that it seems kind of ilogical to me since we all know that England took over many cultures and erase them complitely , so i really don't understand Englands position in this matter in todays world .

please explain why and if this is what the majority on UK believes ???

when one of the burning questions in the news nationwide is "should muslim women wear a veil or not?" then i think the national identity of the UK has already disappeared, there are much more important issues to be discussed than this, and to deflect the awareness of the country away from the important things that face them in their everyday life, ie crime,unemployment,poverty etc. I feel we are having our media manipulated in order to garner sympathy for a cause that does not need it, that cause being the advancement of Islam, which is one of the largest religions in the world, and you know what really pees me off? the muslims say they're being trampled by this government, when if it wasn't for the english people taking them in from their troubled countries, they would probably be dead now.

So because England did what they did back in history you think that the UK people should not have a ID .So because of many cultures being erased and taken over shall we go back a little further like the Romans they did. It's definitely not lost its national identity but I think that maybe because some ethnic minorities are more vocal than others, and conversely the media focus on them more, that it seems like everything is always about them. Actually, I'd also like to point out that Britain is only the country it is now in terms of wealth and development because of its extensive colonial history, in LOOTING and RAPING the resources of the countries of the immigrants that are here now. People seem to conveniently forget that. Also Britain INVITED immigrants to the UK after the second world war, when its manpower was depleted and they needed people to do the jobs no-one else wanted. So in my opinion, if people feel that Britain is full of these people now, then its only justifiable KARMA. And FYI, Karma comes back ten times worse than the original bad deed!!

ur questions r getting better, if u read my other answer (novel) ul see that we are slowly losing it and the best of it is none of us r doing anything to stop this from happening. if some1 attacks u u attack back if some1 shoots at u 1st u run but then u defend urself,they have started a war with us either 2 turn us all in2 muslims or kill us. mark my words the way they breed theyll take over this country in a matter of years,why dont the goverment stop being so half soaked and stand up 4 our own country our heritage.

England hasn't taken over Scotland at all. I am from Wales and recently attended my brothers wedding in Glasgow, the Scottish people have a very strong identity and culture in their own country, as do the Welsh.
The ones who are taking over are the illegal immigrants, coming over here claiming benefits and draining our NHS resources.
