What is the association between belly pain and STDs? What causes this pain exactly? What tests should be run?

Well belly pain in particular to an STD should be linked to female unless the STD has caused a bladder or kidney infection in the male. Chlamydia in particular can cause severe infections leading to sterility in females. I would say a PAP Smear would be in the future

An STD left untreated for a period of time can travel to your uterus and fallopian tubes causing infection and scarring which would be painful in some cases.
