What is the name of the painting and its artist currently in my 360 background (my 360 page should be in my profile)? I think the artists surname is Doyle, but that's all the information I have. I checked out Richard Doyle, but I haven't found any matching work by him. I believe I used to know the answers.

Actually, I'm having trouble finding an online copy of the painting, thus I can't post a link to one.

Is there a major logic deficit in this place?

A. I said used to, as in past tense, as in I no longer adequately remember the names.

B. I have possession of an image of the painting in question because I, as can be inferre, saved an image a while ago. That image reads the name doyle in its file name.

C. I desire to know the name of the painting and its paintor quickly, so I am asking here to see if someone either knows those answers or will look them up on my behalf.

D. The fact of exposure to my 360 page, and the consequence of higher page view numbers doesn't make my question illegitimate

E. The first two of you are thus proven to be less clever, at least in this instance, than you apparently think.

Can anyone actually answer my questions?

Note that this may be a case of simple deduction being necessary, not inference. I admit the terms confuse me.

I apologize for my grammatical errors.

I hope you find out the name of the artist...I did a search and the only possible artist I could find was Richard Doyle, uncle of Sir Conan Doyle, From England, 1824-1883....That exact painting isn't there but similar looking works were....

Whoever the artist is, I'd like to find out, too....I love that painting!

It could also be done by Richard's brother, Charles Altamont Doyle.,...I have a book with his work entitled "The Doyle Diary". That work isn't included in the book , but the works look similar....

I found the answer!! It's by Charles Altamont Doyle...the link's in the box below. The name of the painting is "St. Giles Bells".
