Make sure you exercise BEFORE you eat - here's why. If you eat a couple pieces of pizza (~600 Cal.) and a Mountain Dew (160 Cal.) that's 760 Calories of food that your body has at it's disposal. Now if you ran 2 miles at a fast pace you will probably burn between 250 and 400 calories (depending on a lot of factors). Your body will always burn Sugar and Fat first, so it will love the pizza, but when you get done you will only have burned off some of the food you ate - leaving the fat on your body untouched (actually, you decreased your food intake and increased you metabolism, so it will help some). Now if you go to bed on an empty stomach and run in the morning, your body will be out of food and be forced to burn body fat - this is what you want, right? Good! :D Too bad I can't get up that early :P

I suggest mybeachbody.com. The Slim In 6 program starts you with a shorter 24 minutes program targeted to tighten your butt, thighs, and abdomen. Your metabolism increases as your build up more muscle. When you are ready, you advance to Ramp It Up or Burn It Up. The exercises in the first tape Start It Up seemed so difficult at first but if you stretch using Limber Up exercises, your muscles recover quicker. So you be able to do the more difficult stuff. There are other programs at beachbody.com that are highly toutly too but may be harder than the Slim in 6 program.

You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

LOOK
you need to burn the lard off!!
run, swim, cycle, even walking you need to do anything that makes you sweat & out of breath @ least 3x a week for about 20 mins @ a time.
i,ve been doing this stuff for 25 yrs with amazing results over that time.
burn off the lard & tone up.
Squatts for your butt & thighs
Hold on to a window ledge & lower yourself SLOWLY towards the floor bending your knees, then back up & repeat.
Stomach crunches & sit ups for your belly.
you need to eat a low fat diet too

try ediets.com. It helps you put together meal plans that use foods you like to eat, and you can get exercise ideas from the site. There is a membership fee of about $3 per week, but it's pretty well put together.

I hear walking at a moderate pace for at least 30 minutes 4 times a week helps tone. It doesn't hurt to try and watch the caloric intake either

The best way to burn calories and fat is to run and do fitness exercises. Start at a gym with running and cycling, start eating healthier and you'll lose the fat and feel proud of yourself.
