if by blood atonement, you mean that God needs that physical blood, then you're mistaken.

I don't know what the Jews were doing in 1500 BC. But obviously thats a long time ago and any sources will be sketchy.

Secondly, just because Jews were doing it, does not make it correct.

We slaughter animals on Eid. It is to sacrifice (which takes money) for the sake of Allah, and then feed that meet to poor people, family members and neighbors, and your own family.

I have no idea what the Jews were doing. Muslims however sacrifice animals like sheep on Eid-Fitr and after Hajj is over and give the meat to the poor people.

Muslims seem to believe anything the Imam shouts at them, no matter how outrageous.

Islam is the only religion I know of in the modern world that practices human sacrifice.

I'm a Muslim and I don't know what the Jews did in 1500BC!

It's not central in any Islamic culture. So what did they do in 1500BC?

Blood atonement? What's that? Also not Islamic.

blood atonement is still present in Islam..

you dont need to refer to Jews for such a thing...

but blood atonement was done with the following in mind in Islam:

you slaughter an animal for blessings, (blessings cleanse minor sins), you share the meat with the poor (more blessings).

slaughtering an animal (let alone a human)...to forgive your sins completely..was never the practice or the intent.

such a thing wud be absurd....

i do no longer think of that God did no longer forgive Adam and Eve for their sin, in actuality, i think of that as quickly as they asked to be forgiven that he did forgive them by way of fact God forgives, yet Adam and Eve had to pay for what they did. via eating the forbidden fruit they made a decision and well-known sin into their lives. Sin and the torments that comprise it is their punishment. now with the entire element approximately babies going to hell while they die, it is totally distinctive. you notice, your and my definition of unique sin is distinctive. it ought to no longer be what maximum Christians believe yet i think of this: This international that we are residing in is tainted via sin - killings, undesirable judgements, etc. in spite of the reality that there is a few stable, i think of that as you enhance in it you start to %. up some undesirable dispositions, you apart from mght start to do issues which you be attentive to isn't precise. i do no longer think of that a infant who died presently after beginning could flow to hell... why? a million. the baby had no know-how of stable and evil; how ought to it do some thing incorrect or be attentive to if it did something incorrect. Sin is going hand in hand with know-how and gut emotions. once you be attentive to a minimum of a few thing is inaccurate and purposefully do it, it extremely is sin. 2. as a seventh-day Adventist christian, i think that when you die, you relax till the judgement day. 3. whether the baby died in sin, i think that Jesus intercedes at judgement. by way of fact he died for us, by his forgiveness and our real repentance, we are able to be saved. 4. God is merely--- what merely god could condemn a new child while it did no longer something incorrect? additionally, to respond to your different question, i do no longer think of that God could punish mankind by way of fact of two people. God did no longer extremely punish us while he sent Eve and Adam out of the backyard of Eden. Adam and Eve have been punished by way of fact they knew how paradise replaced into, yet we don't. instead God gave each persons a decision and a wish that, if we do stable and stick to his teachings of love and forgiveness, then we would see paradise. additionally, Christians believe distinctive tings by way of fact it is a distinctive faith. in no way faith or branch of a faith is a same, it is why the separate.
