Robert Maplethorpe, master of the human form
Clive McLean, takes pictures for Playboy magazine.
Ansel Adams, nobody did landscapes better.

Ansel Adams or Ray Atkinson - both world class nature photographers - they both have taken pictures of the same subject as hundred of other photographers but captured them in a way that no one else has - ansel adam's B&W landscapes are just the most beautiful pieces in the world.

Hiroshi Sugimoto, Hiroshi Nonami, Eikoh Hosoe, and Michiko Kon. I like all these artist because of their ethereal qualities, but primarily because of their playfulness, and their keen immaginations and distilled intentions.
