First of all, NO! But, is this person a spouse, a boyfriend or girlfriend, is there a child involved? There are all kind of reasons to factor in here. Also, what type of emotional pain; and have you addressed the issue with him or her and thought about seeking counseling? If there are children involved, or if it is a marriage at stake, there may be a few options you want to try (if you have not already done so) before you throw in the towel. Ultimately the answer to the question, in this general type of text, would have to be no. Nobody can justify living like that. It's even bad for you physical health. Good luck!

Yes... yes you should. What a stupid question. Do you like the feeling of being treated like sh!t everyday or every other day? When you answer that then you'll figure out whether you want to be with someone that causes you PAIN.

Uh, no!! If this person doesn't respect you for who you are, then kick them to the curb!! Your body, mind and spirit are mostly in your control. Emotional abuse is just as bad as physical abuse, no matter how much you love this person. My advice is get out!

obviously, this is a no. relationships are hard though--and you can't help who you love-- especially when you are emotionally committed to the person. try exploring new things, new hobbies, go out with friends, try and focus on things other than the dude. eventually, and hopefully, you can move on and see that theres better guys out there.
