It is a matter of being on track to eternity. Religion in most cases is a diccipline for good living here on Earth according to someones vision or message that they feel they have received from God. Unfortunatly that has nothing to do with The Plan". The plan is that all humans are supposed to be in a personal relationship with the maker. Adam and Eve were not religious and neither is God. God is real and He is the author of Truth. If He is not alive and communicating with us on a regular basis we can not maintain any level of reality. In order to experience things with a full deck then we must be equiped and that cannot happen through another persons experience. When the original sin took place they seprated themselves from the Spirit of God and it was not available to men again until after Jesus was here and the Holy Spirit was sent here to restore us to our rightful place. We can be as religious as we want and if we are not restored it will do us no good in the long run. It may take us to certain heights in the concious mind, but only as far as the religion goes. Religion may help us attain but it has not way of maintaining without jumping through repetitive hoops. That is almost the opposite of God, as He is new moment to moment. Past present and future is all contained in the creator. Why not become attached to Him at the hip and have avalible to you the abilities that He has?

I support my religion and I believe in God. I also think everyone has a right to believe as they wish. I would never put down the religion of another. (unless they were preforming human sacrifices or something equally awful-- no religion i can think of does that)
I would not call anyone else's religion evil and I dislike when mine is put down. I am Christian but I will not state the denomination because I believe they are all equal. (just different interpretations of the same book)
In fact, all religions are probably different interpretations of the same God. Then one day everyone can be united. (could happen...)

The importance of your knowledge is negligible. That is
the answer to teaching without authority. Education included
the answer might have to be yes. Though a good point of
interaction says this question addressed the element of named
religions. The second question attends the first, evil is not
a religion it is an obsession. The area here that is important is
that people can become evil despite GOD making them in
perfect blessings in heaven. The reasons are divine and in the
higher philosophic document of what is death. Good children
of HIS creation must obey in the areas of attempting to be the
good person's they can safely be. Liking is sometimes a
matter of opinions or competitions to produce work, or ideas
and tiny chemicals of jealousy or misunderstanding should
never be their choice.

I believe in religious diversity and I have always liked to learn more about other's faiths and cultures. Even in retrospect to my own religious beliefs, I never thought mine where superior are better then others. But to answer your question, what I find "evil" or perhaps better stated as ignorant is the belief that their religion is supreme and all others are invalid, immoral, or unsound. What makes me most upset is the concept of people telling others that they are going to hell unless that inherit the beliefs of the "saved." If a religion, or rather a branch, uses this scare tactic or manipulation which practices denounce others faith's would be worthy of the term "evil."

i think that the religions of the world are all basie in kindness and faith. and are more or less good.
but when men get control over something. when they get a little taste of power the potential for corruption is great. and these few men make the religion into a force for evil. gulliable followers do not help at all, and people afraid to question god contribute to this also.
who was it that questioned god several times before the destruction of sodom and gemmorah i know it was one of those prophet types.....

For God [The Father] "SO" Loved the WORLD that He gave [Jesus the second member of the Godhead gave Himself] that whosoever should BE-LIVE in Him should not perish but have everlasting life, IF I love Him enough to keep His commandments I will be there IF not I won't, as far as religions satan believes and trembles, but faith without works [action] is dead being alone. I do not hate anyone and respect all beliefs HOWEVER IF your understanding is not based upon A "THUS SAITH THE LORD, your belief is as good as dead and so are you, despite what you call yourself, musilm, or anything else, by the way Jesus has the ONLY grave that is empty, why follow a looser, free bible lessons www.itiswritten.com bible questions www.bibleinfo.com EMAIL me also wgr88@yahoo.com God bless

No [erson within a religion is necessarily bad just becuase they are of that religion, but some religions are better than others in my opinion. I see all religions as ways of understanding God and leading moral lives that have been corrupted and changed over time. All religions lead to God, but one is perfect and others are half-truths.

If my belief runs contrary to them then the worst I could say is incorrect, never evil. In fairness to all, each is sincere in their own method of searching God and Truth. However, some may choose rather unorthodox and extreme path to foster that belief. We may think it's evil but as far as these people are concern they are doing it for God and the supposed reward for such drastic adherence to that particular faith. Their karma( my belief) will ultimately be the judge and executor of their actions.

I don't support religions at all. Religions are of man. That's not where the answer is. The answer is in God (the bible).
God wants us to follow His instructions - and that is simply Repent, be Baptised by full immersion, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
Those without the Holy Spirit are without understanding.

I disagree with other religions, as can be expected, although disagreement is appropriately expressed in polite conversation or even debate, not hatred and violence.
I completely support an individual's right to believe in Islam, Christianity, or Judaism and to practice all his/her obligations regarding those respective beliefs.
