My husband and I are both Veterans, the flag flys everyday out of respect for Vets and all military personal who have and are serving! A prayer everyday is said and heartfelt. Cards were sent to the vet hospital, toys donated to the USMC toys for tots program among other things. Other gifts for older children/teens were sent out as well for military families who's fathers won't be home for the holidays.... I hope everyone remembers the vets everyday!!!!

I relaxed at home today. I was watching some specials on tv tonight. I always cry. I am a US Army vet 1991-1995, so is my husband. We are both very proud to be vets. My brother is in the US Army too. He is in Iraq right now.

I attended services at a cemetery. Then I took fruit baskets to some neighbors who are Vets. I am an Army Veteran so I went to the parade and cheered for everyone.

C.W.: if you are listening, I love you!

I poured him coffee, cooked him dinner, washed his clothes, gave him a big hug, and yesterday watched a 3 hour Veterans Day Parade that he was driving a hummer in. He's my husband if you haven't guessed already.
