I been drinking around half gallon to 1 gallon water every single day, and I noticed I'm not eating over 1000 calories a day. its between 500 to 800 calories, I wanna know which is REALLY making me lose weight? the calories or the wonderful water?

It's the low calories. I would say that you're getting close to a starvation diet. Drinking lots of water keeps your stomach full and probably fools your body into thinking that it isn't hungry so you eat less.
