We had an outdoors rest room ,so we used newspapers and sears Roebuck catalogs, i do not recognize how we did it , besides the undeniable fact that it worked. the internet website below says that lavatory paper replaced into first pronounced in 589 ad in China, and it type of feels that Scott replaced into likely the first company to fabricate it.
