Could this be the end of a beautiful thing we once had. Should we stop being friendly with eachother?

She has cooked for me a few times, and taken me to lunch as well.

You never had a "beautiful thing" with her to begin with.
Flirting is just that. She's setting you up dude.
She's like a chick at a bar or lounge who flirts with guys to get them to buy her drinks, then she ghosts when she's had her fill.

Now you know why she has been so friendly. She wants more than friendship. She wants to also use you. This would be the end. Just let her borrow money, and you will see how beautiful your friendship really is.

There are so many sayings about money and all of them are true, never lend Money to a friend, a fool and his money are soon parted, Do not lend money, unless you do not want it back ever, because this can happen and might. I have never heard if a good ending

if she's fllirting..thats cute. the thing is if she is asking to borrow large amounts of money then stop there. besides wouldn't dating and/or having an intimate relationship with a co-worker enough to get both of you fired? well what i would do is if you do wind of dating..keep it on the down low from other co-workers. and besides that..do what your heart tells you! good luck!

have you thought that maybe she was only flirting with you to see if you would loan her the money if you do loan it to her you might just as well give it to her for she sounds like the type who might just borrow the money and not pay it back.flirting or not is it worth losing the money if you're not sure

Never loan money to somebody you work with, it is a potential for disaster and can create a huge problem for everyone in the office, not just you.

That depends on how much she asked for and what it was for. That could be unrelated.
If she asked for $5 for lunch, then it means nothing. If she asked for $500 then tell her your mom won't let you loan money to hookers.
