my apartment has 1 cable wall unit in the bedroom. I want to use a splitter to hook up a tv in the current room and a tv in the living room. i have to get a cable from the bedroom through the foyer into the living room. I would rather not run cables along the floors or walls, and I can't punch through the walls. Any ideas?

You can get a wireless TV transmitter. It will cost u under $100. Check ebay

It is always safer to pay a little more and buy directly from a retailer though so that if u dont like the quality u can return it.

You could always try a broadband tv provider, or run the cable along the ceiling... the walls in an apartment may be tricky

your idea is the only way cables with splitter from one room towards another that's how I have mines.the more cable holding the splitter has the more u can run it to another room.if not u might need to get another cable box if that's what u have. good luck

run it through the ceiling if possible, if not you could paint the cable the same color as your walls and tack it neatly to the very bottom of the wall against the floor and run it through that way, it wont be as noticeable.

Ouch, i just recently had a similar problem, accept replace cable with speaker wire. anyway, I pushed the wires through the celing tiles, but if that impossible, perhaps drilling a small hole in the corner of both rooms, and pushing the wire through it, um........ short of that, i cant really think of anything
