I am decorating my home Victorian. I want to have a couple of sayings embroideried on fabric surrounded by roses. Then I want to have them matted and framed. How ever, I am having a problem wording a search to find someone that does this. I have called the local numbers in my phone book for the people that do machine embroidery but they only do monograming and sportswear.
Thanks for andy help,
Pat

Go to your community center, church or senior center, or a rest home and ask around. You will probably find someone who would love to make your embroidery for you, especially if you have time for them. You will find that they will enrich your life and you can enrich theirs.

Go back to that phone book and look under sewing machines-- and go see them-- Bernina has an embroidery machine, There is one by White-- and lots more.
The ladies are correct-- if they don't do it-- they will know who does do that type work.
good luck
