For recording music nothing I have read about can beat MusicMatch

Give it a try you wil be amazed.

PC magazine has rated it best for several years.....

Downloading music may or may not be legal.

When you listen to music on the radio you are free to record it for
personal use. Same with listening to music on the Inet! Not illegal
to record for personal use!
