Uncomfortable? Only until you get used to wearing them which for me was within the first few days. Now, when they are uncomfortable, it usually means that I need to clean them or replace them.
Do they move when you blink? if you blink hard enough, yes. They do move ever so slightly when you blink normally.
How long do they last? Depends on the brand and the type. My first set were the kind that lasts for 1 yr with normal cleaning. They also were more expensive. I now wear the kind that last for 1 month. There are some that you throw away daily and ones you can wear for 2 weeks.

If you care for them well they won't be uncomfortable. They don't move around when you blink if you have the proper lense size. Depending on which brand type you use is how long they last. For instance, I use Acuvue 2 lenses and I have to change them every two weeks if I don't sleep in them. But, If i sleep in them every night im suppose to throw them away after six days.

Different lenses last different lengths of time. When I first got contacts (nearly 20 years ago!), you had to take them out every night and wash them. Now I wear mine for two weeks (or longer) straight before throwing them away. They are very comfortable and don't move around unless my eyes get dried out. If they are properly fitted to the shape of your eye (something the eye doctor will check), then you won't notice or feel them at all.

They may not fit your right. I had to try 6 different kinds before I found the ones that were right for me, O2 optix. Also the kind of solution i use makes a huge difference with how dry they feel. I like aquify. Expensive and hard to find. Figures.

depends on the type and brand you get. i have been wearing contact lenses for over 10 years and have had very good results. i wear soft lens, disposable contacts made by the focus brand and they are very good. they last for about a month before they need to be replaced.

Well, they don't really move around, they sit on your eye, yes but they don't really move unless you rub your eye. How long they last depends on if you get the soft disposables or the longer lasting harder ones.

This is my first day wearing my contacts and they aren't uncomfortable at all! I barely notice them unless I don't blink for a minute, then they slide a smidge but nothing horrible.
