Quite probably, although cars won't be the sole cause.

No. Most of the "fumes" from cars are actually normal gases (carbon dioxide and water). Certainly there is carbon monoxide and other pollutants, but my experience is these generally aren't a problem. It is interesting to note people seem to be more concerned with unburnt fumes than with the burnt ones. For example, when filling the fuel tank some vapors escape.
Certainly, CO2 may be a problem in a city, causing it to be warmer than normal, but this isn't necessarily bad, especially in winter time.
There is a lot of debate at the moment about whether there is or isn't global warming, and if it is real then what the cause is.
I'm in Beijing and we have lots of smog here, and I have been trying to work out what the cause is. I don't think it can all be blamed on the internal combustion engine, I think a lot of it comes from open fires or manufacturing.

Do I think global warming is due solely to exhaust fumes from cars? No. Do I think the exhaust fumes from cars contribute to global warming? Yes.

Government use car exhaust fumes as an excuse to tax drivers to death although they contribute just a tiny tiny fraction of the emissions blamed for global warming. Other sources such as factories, and probably worst of all is air travel for causing polution.

Yes. The fumes in the air are causing everything to get warmer. In case u haven't heard, the permafrost is no longer permanent. People if we don't do anything about this the glaciers will melt and the sea will rise to about 10 feet. States such as flordia will become submerged. Also with warmer climates, the populations of misqetos and other disease-ridden animals will begin to rise, getting alot of people sick. Alot of animals will become extinct and food sources will become scarce, fresh water will become scarce alot of people will starve. This will eventually kill us all. I'm terrified. I'm taking out my Bible and I am praying this won't happen.
