By exercising I mean Tae Kwon Do - I think that kicking may stretch the tattooed area....obviously I won't spar 'till the peeling and healing is done as I don't want the tattoo knocked...and what about treadmill running too? Any good advice appreciated.

It's not going to ruin the tattoo to work out. Your not grappling so not rubbing on it any more than regular clothing doing day to day activities. It might burn abit if it gets rubbed pain will be gone in a day or two tops and scab will be gone in 3 or 4.

I have 5 tattoos on various parts of my body and I train in Judo. If you got it today Saturday work out Monday light then by wednesday you can go back to narmal.
Just make sure you keep putting cream on it. No polysporn just vaseline or another petrolium based vitamin E cream. And don't bandage it or cover it up. That's only for the first couple hours because of bleeding.
It will not bleed again after that so go ahead and train.

You can do gentle exercise simply no heavy aerobic till the scabbing level is completed. I might take it convenient for per week or 2. Sweat can rationale an contamination, a tattoo is like having an open wound. If you ought to determine then ensure you do not put on any factor that allows you to rub in opposition to your tattoo and ensure you blank it straight after your completed.

bushido is right. Bepanthen is great for tattoos.

you can train as soon as the skin has finish peeling, as then the scab has fallen, and the new skin is present. there will be no damage to the tattoo now.

trust me.
