In your case, I think you see more of the negative things about your character rather than your good things. Relax, lose the tension, and think about all the good things about yourself so that you can feel confidence......thus BEING confident on the outside as well. :-)

Hope that helps, and good luck! :-)

Rejection is better than regret! Practice makes perfect and sacrificing your ego is a habbit we should all get used to.

Think about it! I bet you remember that chick you should have asked out one time but never did and now you still wonder. But the last time you were rejected has probably already slipped out of your memory.

You can't 'build up confidence' you have to choose to be confident. It is not a process or a chore, it is a decision. Choose to look at yourself as a winner and judge who you are on your own standards not the rest of the world. Believing you are a stud and treating the moment you ask a girl out as a game, are 80% of the battle. Women, even hot super models are just people, if you make them out to be royalty you will always be a step behind.

Talking to a girl is no joke, they could be into you or not. Just go up to her and ask her for her name "Are you new around her? I havn't seen you around, Im ____" That simple. This would be much easier if you were in highschool. but whoknows you didn't give me much discription about the question. hmm..Just be yourself. Don't try to hard. Let her get to know you but have a mysterious side.
