When I click on "create mail" I get the message "There was an error opening this message. An error has occurred".

When I try to open my address book I get the message "unable to open address book. Address book may not be installed correctly". Occasionally I also get a message saying "Address Book failed to load. Outlook Express is incorrectly configured, please re-install".

I've tried deinstalling and reinstalling Security update 911567, and Service pack 2, as suggested in the Microsoft Knowlege Base. I've also tried copying my address book .wab files to my desktop, deleting the originals etc as suggested in knowlege base article 917288 but I still get the same messages.

I'm running Windows XP and Outlook Express 6.0

Hi....
You know you really ought to no better than to expect a Microsoft free software tool to be any good.
I recommend Thunderbird from Mozilla. It does the same thing a Express but it is much nicer.

hmmm which ISP do you utilize? BT could be humorous if the pop3 email account is with a third occasion. i.e you have your guy or woman internet area and email bills. you're able to desire to establish mail redirection with them. touch the bt broadband help line and that they permit you to comprehend what to do. solid success.
