Is it true you can't teach an old dog new tricks?? My parents let the 11 year old chihuahua poop indoors...

Is it possible to train it to go take a dump outside or inside on doggy litter? If so how???? Please help this dog f*cked up the carpet baaaad!!!!!!!!!

You can train him to scratch at the door when he or she wants out to use the bathroom, but it will take time.

Get a spare food dish.
When he poops indoors, put it in his food dish, no food that day.

They learn quick.
