I have 2 Britax ones that I bought in Halfords, they have boys there that will fit them for you. You can also get them in Mothercare & Toys R Us. They are very sturdy and well made and were expensive approx £100 each I think.
Buy the best you can afford cos you can't put a price on achilds safety.

I don't know what kind of car seat you are looking for. If you are looking for a car seat that will last a long time, get a Fisher Price(made by Britax a top of the line car seat manufaturer)Safe Voyage convertible car seat. It fits from 5 to 55 pounds and will cost you about $200.00. When I was pregnant I went out and bought a stroller with the infant seat included which is ok. In my opinion, I wouldn't buy the infant seat by its self unless you have the money to do so. The infant seat can be pricy and probably your child will grow out of it. My son is almost 7 mopnths old and is almost to big for it. The infant seat is handy, but I think buying a good convertible seat would be a better pick for safety.

For my four year old son i have a high backed booster seat with sides that is suitable for his age and weight and the back can also be removed for when he is bigger he is strapped into this with the normal car seat belt. It is by GRACO and cost £30 it
will last him untill he is to old for car seats. My 18 month daughter has something very similar but hers fits into the car using the seat belt and has its own safety straps the back on this one can also be removed and then used with a normal car seat belt when she is older. Cant remember the make of this one but it was from Argos and also only cost £30. Both fantastic easy to use and great value for money

the cosco scerena from walmart is a VERY good seat from newborn to about 4 years. Its also a very good price (40). Check out the car seat saftey board on babycenter.com If you have a couple hundred to spend the britax and marathon are wonderful.
Babycenter.com Car Saftey Bulletin Board:

Tips: Rear face as long as possible. Get a mirror!
The travel systems are a crock unless you really walk around that much. The strollers are huge and unnecessary. For newborn you get a SLING. for toddlers.. if you must have a stroller you use an unbrella. Don't get roped into that crud. Also dont' ever put a carseat ON the shopping carts. They go IN The carts.
