Christians are very hopeful.
But a so called transcendant perfect god has no ability to interface with so called imperfect human beings (a.k.a gods creation) except by incarnation in the realm they exist, if that is possible at all.

God speaks to you directly to your heart. Thats where your thoughts/prayers coincide with His will and destiny and inspiration.
In certain points in history, God sent men who were true to Him as guides for us. We live on their footsteps...and stand firm in the face of adversity like they have.
Jesus was such a man.
And so was the ones before him and so was the one after him.
