Dogs eat a lot of things. But you should really keep socks, tights, underwear, etc away so that the dog doesn't eat them. Please keep an eye on the dog to make sure he passes them...if he doesn't, you'll need to go to the vet to get them removed. Those things can cause some serious problems.

my black lab is exactly the same. He adores socks. I think it's just for attention. they seem to like it when you're chasing them trying to prise them out of their mouth. It's probably not normal but if he's young it's just a phase. It's a play thing more than anything. Just try and distract him with a toy.
I'm glad I'm not the only one

OMG yes! My lab eats pens, bike helmets, pop cans, lol.... anything he can get his paws on. They are known for that. Get him plenty of chew toys and make sure you hamper the clothes. My lab likes underwear and if they are on the floor he brings them out to the livingroom at the most inopportune times.
Gotta luv em!! (A hamper is your best bet)

I have had two labs. They love chewing on anything and everything, so yes it would be normal.

How old is your Lab? If he/she is a puppy, then yes...because the items have your scent on them.

Sometimes, but teach him not to do it. It`s not healthy. He or she might get something stuck on its throat.
