Foam is common when they are thirsty and running around like that. It's just spit. Take him to an obedience school already.

Chances are your pooch is bored and has too much pent up energy so he is finding destructive ways to vent his energy. To help with the chewing, the fist thing you want to do is prevention. Make sure nothing is left on the floor, garbage has a locking lid, and he is crated when you can not supervise him. Second, you need to remember that he may not know the difference between a dog toy and your couch leg. Designate a couple of different places where he is allowed to chew. For my pooch we let her chew in her crate and out in the back yard. This brought results rather quickly. Finally, he needs to learn the commands "leave it" and "out", so that when he does get into something he shouldn't, you can get him to stop. Practice leave it with a treat. Hold it in front of his face and tell him leave it. Every time he looks away praise him and give him the treat. Practice out with a ball or other dog toy. Tell him out, if you have to take it from him and praise him accordingly. It takes patience and consistency, but it works. When he runs away try to get in his eye sight then run away from him. He will think it is a game and try to chase after you. Obedience classes will help, commands like come and stay are crucial in situations like these. Make sure he is getting plenty of exercise so he has a positive outlet for his energy. I know its frustrating, I have had some pretty disobedient dogs, but it is so worth it once you get them trained. Good Luck
BTW any dog can foam at the mouth when they are overly excited, I know that some boxers are known for this

The dog definitely needs obedience classes. (I know you're probably tired of reading that, but it's true.)
Also, give him lots of toys to play with. Pick up anything that he should not chew on. By taking away the wrong things and giving him the correct chew toys, you are positively reinforcing what is o-k to play with. Eating things that are not meant to be eaten can cause obstructions in their stomach and intestines and then you are looking at serious vet bills and possibly the death of your pet. The only way to stop the unwanted behavior is to take away the temptation and train him.
Some "foaming" after playing and running is very common. Boxers are known for their slobber. If you notice it at other times, it may be a health condition that needs to be checked out by your vet.

I have 2 boxers and one of them eats any food in sight. Also gets in the garabge. Our 1st boxer died of foaming but it is a normal feature when your furry friend is excited. You can maybe prevent this from happening by leaving his food out and NOTHING else out or see a vet. My other boxer had 2 surgeries from eating a sloe of a shoe and a sock and the inside of a tennis ball and a sock. Mabye consider getting an electric fence, whoch means the dog wears a special collar and of he crosses the bounderie he will get zapped. Also maybe consider a training course or even a at home trainer? I hope this is helpful!!

You are lucky you have not had a huge bill for an emergency surgery yet.
Crate him when he can't be supervised. Use baby gates to keep him in the same room you are in.
Get him into an obedience class (not stupid 'furbaby' classes like they have at Petsmart).
Teach him to stay away from an open door unless invited. Work on making him stay away from the door when it is opened. Knee him (not hard enough to hurt him) and tell him to get back until he is 5 ft or so from the door. You will need to work at it, but they usually pick it up fairly quickly. I HATE roaming dogs charging us when we are out walking and he would get pepper sprayed if he were to run up to us. If he is loose and gets into a fight (you do not know if another dog is friendly) you will be held liable for damages.

i think you should bring alot more chew toys into your house and play with your dog and when he trys to chew something else simply tell him in a firm voice no! bad dog, it may take some time but he will eventually listen if not take him to obedience school like the people below me said, how old is your boxer, i'm sure its a puppy most dogs learn to grow out of this yes it is common for a boxer to foam out of his mouth because boxers noses our short and pushed in so they tend to breath more heavily then other dogs, in the house you should call his name everytime you want him to come, most dog like for you to chase them play with him all your dog is trying to do is play with you i know it can be frustrating but you should put him on a leash and teach him simple commands like sit speak lay stay, and when he does them right give him a treat well good luck

I'd say that your dog is in desperate need of some obedience training as he is running the house.
