Sorry I borrowed it, Tried to throw it back several times but it kept returning to me so I think I've earnt the right to keep it!

You no doubt have a stronger arm that you think you have. When did you throw it, what time of day? Was it sunny or raining? A lot of things you need to take into consideration. It has in no way been stolen. It will come back to you. They always do BUT be aware before it hits you in the back of the head.
