My sister just graduated High School this year. She was 17 and she is dating this guy who is 38 and has a 12 year old daughter, plus this guy is a wrestling coach at the high school. Do I have a right to be mad? Should I kick his Butt?

That coach sounds like a pedophile to me. Where are your parents in all of this? He could get arrested while she is still 17. What a jerk. I don't blame you for being upset.

You have a right to be upset. And it appears you have more intelligence than your sister. The age difference here isn't the only concern, I have . This coach sounds like he may have problems with boundary issues. And if that is the case he shouldn't be working in an environment where there are juveniles. It simply may not be the best environment for him to be working in. Are you able to talk to your parents about this matter? They should understand your concerns. As far as you taking matters into your own hands I suggest you stay away from this coach. Seek adult counseling on this matter. Your sister has probably been manipulated by him in more than one way. It is noble that you want to kick this guys butt but it will only cause problems for you and your school record. Talk to an adult who can help. Chances are this coach is coaching other under age girls, ( and possibly having inappropriate relations with them as well as your sister) and that is against the law. Find the right adult to help you expose him and this guys behavior past & present should be enough to hang himself!

What the hell is she even doing with a 32 yr old?!!

girl has a whole life ahead of her!! and she is with this 32 yr old?!

Yes you have every right to protect your sister. Have a chat with this 32 yr old. But dont kick his ***. cux your sister will just see it as you dont understand her, or her decisions. and you will make things go south from there. Make her see it that this is soooo wrong. and she have so many thing going for her. Why is it that she want to see this 32 yrs old man!!

I'm sure its her maternal instinct kicking in. but still ...38 yr old and 17 yrs old. its no future for her. I know, a friend of mine went through it. and we were in a complete uproar. and in her mind she thought that she was saving that guy, anyways, long story short.

Save your sister, but don't abused the guy, cux she will rebels and ended up making a decision that she isn't ready to make, and probably will regret for the rest of her life.

Talk some sense into your sister, and find out just what is it that she is attracting to this loser.
talke sensible with her first, and the guy too.

and tell her that if she is really in love with this guy, wait till she is finished with her degree first !! then think about it then.
Cux she don't need to wasted her life on him, and see if the guy is willing to wait that long. and if the guy isnt willing, then you got your answer, the guy isnt for her, and hopefully she will find out that way soon.

Best of luck!
I wish you the best!

Hmm, kick the wrestling coach's butt? Good luck! Yeah, you have a right to be mad, but there's really nothing you can do about it. You can tell your parents & see if they want to put a stop to it because of her age.

Yeah you kind of have a right to be mad but you should know your sister well enough to know if she is going to hate you for kicking his butt and to know what kind of guys she usually dates. Make a decision based on what kind of relationship you want with you sister. Maybe you could try talking to her.

That's illegal. Even if she's over the age of consent (varies by state) if they're having sex it's illegal because of the teacher/pupil relationship that exists. Call the autorites, protect your sister. What would a 38 year old want with a teenager?

First, I would like to congradulate you for wanting to protect your sister. Second, violence isn't the answer tho. he is a wrestling coach which means he could fight. What does your parents say about the relationship?

you have the right to be mad if you really love your sister
but you can't kick his butt or do any angry ot fool action to deal with this issue you need to be very cool and think how to convience your sister that this relation won't last because the age difference and she won't like to be a home wrecker she has to put herself in his daughter shoes how would she feel if your father is dating a girl round your age also she is just begining her life and she will meet lots of guys who she will love and like to spend the rest of her life with, if she stayed with that man after years she will be nursing him while she would like to spend her youth with ppl round her age never to mention this guy jealousy if he saw her just talking to a collegue

Good luck

I would be really worried. If they were to sleep together that may just cause some MAJOR problems. And also, his daughter is only 5 years younger than your sister! You need to talk it out and stop yourself from acting aggresive. That just screws things up.
