Just is it a risk factor because of mutations? Many people are fine who have a father who was older when they were concieved.

It has been connected to autism.

There's no scientific evidence that I know of. I knew a man who fathered a daughter when he was in his 60s. I met her at his funeral when she was 20. Other than being a female she had no psycological problems. :o)

My parents were 39 and 44 when I was conceived, and I am still AOK, thank you.

no just if the mother is. and the reason is that the mothers eggs are old because we have them from the day we are born but men reproduce sperm all the time.
