What you want to do is identify what your needs first. Saying you want to buy a home theater is like saying you are hungry and where can you get food. There are a lot of things to define such as price range, room size, acoustics, etc. Also, not every combination you can purchase will be good. Certain speaker/amp combinations just don't work well together. Certain room/speaker combinations also don't work well together. Acoustics are important. How many people will watch the theater is important (determines angle coverages and surround channel numbers and placements). Anybody can stick 5 speakers, a sub an AV receiver and a display in a room and say the have a home theater...but those who take the time and work with an experienced HT professional won't end up with a home theater...they'll end up with a Home CINEMA...big difference. It won't necessarily cost more, but you'll get more. As for a source...I'm biased, it is probably wrong to do it...but what the heck!

Try e-bay and search by component if you know what you want. They have everything! Look for new and in original boxes. If you have done your homework and know what you want and the retail price, you can get some really good deals...Good luck.
