Just north of Greater Manchester. If you get to Manchester then you are oly 30 minutes away from Bolton - I live there!

North-west of Manchester. I would guess about 10-15 miles from central Manchester. I suspect it is in the county of Lancashire as opposed to Greater Manchester, but I can't really tell on my map. Anyway, I'm a scouser by birth....so what do we know of life further east?

You won't need any money. We'll pay for you! :) Seriously, however, Bolton has different areas and different price ranges for renting houses. It's quite a big town. I wouldn't like to offend any people who live there, but if it's a cheap area you're looking for, try Breightmet!
