Bobby? It's me.The "demon" is of your own creation.Wish it peace and turn your attention away.It represents your Fear.It feeds off your fear, but cannot hurt you.It is on the same level as an angry dog.You have no enemies.SM

I have experienced this sort of thing dozens of times. I've seen visions, ghosts, dark figures, winged beasts, and monstrous shadows on my wall. In addition I have been touched, slapped, squeezed and felt pressure on my chest. Although I can't say for sure what it is, it has never gone past that. I have attributed it to sleep paralysis.
Doctors believe that sleep paralysis are hallucinations created by physical things occurring in the body as a result of a dysfunction or malfunction of the normal R.E.M. state of sleep. This malfunction may be brought on by life stressors or sleep deprivation. Doctors have also discovered a much higher incidence of sleep paralysis for those who sleep on their back. He has found that changing sleep position can reduce the incidence of these nightmares. He also suggests getting up and physically moving around after having an episode as several can occur in one night.
Usually if I am very tired or worried about something it will happen. I have learned to dismiss them, although I would like to tell you that its not a demon, I really don't know. What I do know is that if the best they can do is give me a quick scare in the night, then they must lead a pretty boring existence. I say bring it on and next time stay around until I wake up so I can pound their face in.

First, stop going to demonology web sites! If you have an opportunity to ever study childhood development, you will see that at certain stages of childhood we live in a fantasy world. We believe in fairies, boogey monsters, etc. and it is very real to us. If, somehow, you get stuck in that level of development, these fantasy thoughts will be a focus in adult life. In the Bible God said he will protect his children. No demon or other entity can get to you without invitation. That comes in the form of delving into those areas that are not healthy for you, e.g. demonology, witchcraft, etc. Whenever you encounter one of these fears, just pray to God to take away the evil and have faith it will be done. Remember, God has the power over all principalities and evildoers of this universe. You have nothing to fear when you allow Him to lead you.

Look...theres a sound explanation for this...
Demons as you call do really exist..
Theyre a different species of creatures..they cannot be seen with our mortal eyes...(we cant see anything under infra red or under ultra violet) and they come in many different shapes and sizes.
They are the devils minions as the devil himself was created of fire..not light...like angels were.
Before you go to sleep..you should always recite some prayers and ask God to protect you.
And do not fear these creatures...as they have no power over you...they are created being like you and me...but they live in a different world and they conform to that which God controls.
Everything goes through God first...so pray and ask Him to help you.
As a reminder, sometimes God will allow these creatures to scare you even if you have prayed...that is because your nightly prayers are not enough..and He wants to motivate you to pray further and live a protected life.
Hope this helps..Contact me if you need to know which prayers to read.
Edit: DO NOT fear these creatures...if you fear them...start talking about them...they will visit.
If you fear them..youll be giving them power to scare you..play with your thoughts etc.
Have a strong firm mentality and refuse to be bound by such weak creatures.
Peace

Yes, demons are real, but you do not have to be afraid. Trust in Jesus for protection, uses his name at bedtime, and you will feel alot safer. Also read the bible, start witht he new testament. then go to the psalms... you will find alot of peace there. Demons cannot hurt you....unloess you permit it, and there is no reason why you woudl want to do that. Choose a good life, rebuke the demons in jesus' name, and have the peace you are looking for.

Yeah, I can see why it would bother you, but I would really suggest that you just not eat sugar before going to bed. It's probably just a weird psychological thing. Dreams are strange, after all.
