Our minds are so frail and delicate. What makes us think that we are capable of understanding him? I admire the illimitable superior spirit. I would like to hear your opinions.

Actually, we have a deep understanding on how the universe works. There is great knowledge about the world, using the method of science. And it grows every day, every year, always greater understanding. Through science.

Some feeble minds will never understand this, that is eminently true.

You Really Can't Understand GOD with your Mind (Soul, Second Mind).
You can Understand Parables (Parallel Truth) with your Soul.
Thats why GOD made us Spirits!
With your Spiritual Mind (the Real You) you will be Able to Understand GOD (a Spirit), and Spiritual Things Once you have been Recreated (Saved).

what your question should be is why some people are incapable of understanding how they can believe in a God who has committed the most heinous of crimes against humanity and still expects unconditional love and acceptance. Or why ANY God would condemn anyone to an eternity of damnation for simply not agreeing with a book that paints a horrible picture or torcher and murdering God. Or why a God would condone the beheading of anyone, much less children.

Well, He only made certain things about Himself easy for us to understand....the rest we could never hope to come to know with our earthly minds...but most importantly, the thing that is clearest that He makes known to us is that
1)man is a sinner
2)man cannot save himself
3)Jesus being God manifested in the flesh, died a substitutionary death for us
4)He rose from the dead; therefore overcoming the power death held
5)all those who admit their guilt before a HOLY GOD and turn to Jesus for forgiveness of sins shall be saved!

Hence, the Holy Spirit reveals His truth. A human on his own couldn't possible understand things of God. That is why there are so many unbelievers in the world, they lean on their own understanding, which is useless. It is God who decides who knows His truth and who doesn't.

God engenders man to have the capacity to understand his Creator perfectly. Man does not need to be recreated, and in no manner is man frail and delicate. As your gaze leaves view of God's man, you see the frail and delicate one who fails and dies.

If this is your belief, and you are content with it then no one of us has the right to try to change your mind. My own belief is quite simple in that we all are a part of the greater whole, and within each of us is a small spark of the universe itself. Within that context I believe that to a point we can understand the creation, and along with that perhaps a portion of the creator..... if there actually is one.

My opinion goes like this: Yes, we can't comprehend. Church people want to comprehend. But no humans can comprehend; and we are not even the type of creatures that could ever comprehend. We're not much higher than the other animals. If there were a god, he would not even expect us to comprehend.

Because WE have the MIND OF CHRIST!

Perfect LOVE casts out FEAR! And when one realizes
we ALL have a spirit in us. And ALL spirits have a spiritual BOND. And hurting one person is the same as hurting OURSELVES. Then nothing they can learn will cause them to hurt another.
