You get a blanket, pillow.
Onboard magazine.
In some airlines, a kit with toothpaste, tooth brush and a comb, or other things.
Free food , beverages ( alcoholic beverages sometimes).
PTV's in some airlines, and in some cases it depends on the aircraft type.
Some airlines offer hot towels and complimentary chocolates or candies.

What they give you for free depends on the airline. I'm not sure if Canada or Britain have the same regulations as the US, but you're allowed to bring liquids or gels on board a plane ONLY if they're in 3 ounce containers or smaller, and you put them in a separate container when going through security (and this includes hand lotion and probably makeup as well). If you're not allowed to bring it past security you may be able to buy it post-security at the airport. Depending on the airline, some have hand lotion on the plane but probably not. Again I'm not from Canada (unfortunately - I love Canada). In economy class, you probably won't get much else unfortunately except for a meal. (They DO still feed you on international flights). They do have TV screens as well and will probably show a movie.

no longer some element is loose. it extremely is all charged on your fee value ticket fee. study which includes your airline what's accredited, optimal beverages are no longer - like 'lotion'. optimal international flights provide you a meal and there is toothpaste and a toothbrush contained interior the lavatory (guy or woman ones, no longer one for all). If it is an prolonged flight, there will be a heat towel till now you ought to get off. don't be attentive to how long the flight from "Canda" (Canada?) to India is, yet optimal financial device flights over 3 hours get a meal and towel. distinctive airlines do distinctive themes. you ought to be allowed a plastic comb. optimal international places do no longer enable wood and nutrition to be extra in. you will choose for to examine customs etc. Your community government ought to have a internet site for visitors telling you what you desire to hold close and directing you to the internet pages that permit you recognize each element else. do no longer think of the advice of people on yahoo to get it stable for you. those days getting it incorrect ought to be very very undesirable. study which includes your airline, and your government to be particular.

Mints, lotion, combs and makeup are fine. Gum should be ok. However, gum is prohibited in Singapore. I would suggest you wear very minimum makeup if you really have too. When flying long haul, I would bring toothpaste and toothbrush, small essential toiletries as you need them to refresh yourself, such as face wash, face/body mist, etc. Cologne would be nice too, because you can't take a shower on the plane, and you probably wouldn't wanna take a shower at the airport either. Bring some books or magazines to kill time. Music, too. Bring anything that can keep you occupied for 8 hours.

Besides those, I normally bring a comfortable sweater in my hand-carry bag. Also some first-aid medicines, e.g. for air sickness, cold, cough, diarhoea, fever (panadol, etc), etc. All your important stuff that you don't want to risk losing should be carried with you in your purse or hand-carry bag, such as documents.

Depending on the airlines, but most long haul flights do give complimentary things. You can have juices, soft drinks and water whenever you feel thirsty. Alcohol is normally served (with meals), but don't be tempted, you may feel sick if you're not used to drinking alcohol on board. You can always ask for snacks whenever you feel hungry. Some airlines let you serve yourself for snack. Newspaper is normally given for free.

Economy classes do have TV, but it's not guaranteed that you will get a TV for yourself. Sometimes it's shared. You can ask for freebies, too. Not always given, but if they have if, they normally give it. Enjoy your flight.

As others mentioned, it depends upon the airline. I flew in economy class from San Francisco to London last year on British Airways and everyone received a package with an eye mask, a pair of socks, headphones to listen to the inflight movie, and a small toothbrush with toothpaste. We also were given a small pillow and blanket. The seats had individual tv screens. I'm flying next month to Germany on Lufthansa. I'm not aware of what (if any) freebies are given on board. I've been told that the seats don't have the individual tv screens, but there are a few large movie screens throughout the cabin.

I have flown on many international flights, and they have become very strict. You are not allowed to take on anything edible, drinkable, or anything like lotion or makeup. sucks. basically take your wallet, ipod might be allowed now...call the airline on that one..., and a good book to read. comb should be fine...unless they view it as a potential weapon. better to bring minimum amount, because if it is not allowed, they will just throw the item away right there. have fun! And yes, economy does get tv's as well. all models will have the big screen tvs in various places. some other models will have individual ones.

A TV is not garenteed. But you should get a free meal and snacks, drinks and some airlines give stuff out like deks of cards and that. I traveld on JAL and they give u a hot towel at early mornings, and before +after take off and landings.

Dont expect anything fancy in economy
