The girl in the apartment above me apparently just got a new boyfriend. She has always been very quiet and to herself. The new Mr. Right has apparently unleased the tiger within. The thumping, moaning and shouts of delight carry better than she probably suspects and their private moments are not rally very private. Should I clue her in, and if so, how?

I would let them know, depending on how many people are in the building. If you can slip an anonymous note that could potentially be from a few surrounding neighbors, I'd do that. Keep it respectful, which it sounds like you would, and let her know you're just trying to be considerate, not a killjoy. If there's no way she won't know its you, well you may have to just make a comment at some point that indicates you wish they'd put more soundproofing in the building in general. OR you could find youself a mate to release your tiger within and demonstrate live the lack of soundproofing and at least have some fun whilst making your point!!

Man, I can relate to your problem, i had to deal with the neighbor from h-el-l a few years ago. I would say take the nice route first. Let her know that you can hear EVERYTHING, lol. If that doesn't work ask her again and be a little pissed. If that fails complain to the land lord or owner(if they give a crap). Or just move.

i would knock on her door (after they are done) and let them know that even the neighbors need a cigarette when they are done. then laugh, and let her know you can kinda hear everything that goes on

landlords don't care about this kind of thing, and i know you want to mind your own business, but when people get loud, it is your business when it gets loud, especially if there are any kids in your apartment at the time of the "fun". clue her in

Mind your business, and let her have her fun - but if it gets too loud, ask your landlord to soundproof your ceiling

I would mind my own business if I were you.
