I feel like my boyfriend and don't spend enough time together. He says he's busy. Don't want to waste my time on someone who is not for the future.

I am actually having this same problem myself. I love him and I want to be with him, but at the same time I wonder sometimes if he really feels the same way. We basically have 1 of 2 choices..... we can stay and try and talk to them and see if it can work out . or we can just let it go and find someone else.

I choose to stay for a little while longer and try to work on the relationship as long as he is willing to work WITH me to make this work.
I'm sure you will figure out what is right for you. I wish you luck.

You make relationships seems like there is a formula that must be stuck to, and there is no way that they are like that.

If you think that he isn't spending enough time with you, then calmly open a discussion and tell him how you feel. Sometimes it isn't about the amount of time you spend together, but what you do with it.

Relationships are about communication, honesty, compromise, and hard work...if one of those if failing then there is work that needs to be done. Or at least this is my experience.

I will answer your questions, but they are not a guide for you. Firstly, let me begin by saying that my fiance and I have been together for 6 years, and have 2 children together. How often do we talk? We talk everyday, but if you are asking about a good conversation instead of organising things, I would probably say every second or third day (unless he is home, he works away 2 weeks out of three).

How often do we spend time together? We spend time together as a family when he is home (for that one week), in that week we try and get in some quality time for the two of us.

ive been engaged for 1yr 7 mos. and we're getting married april of 2007. we live together and both work full time sometimes overtime. we have a 6 yr old that can stay with his grandmother if needed, but we all like to focus on our family and be there for each other... even if its just talking about our day. we always call each other to check up on status or to say hi. we talk about any issue that may occur and resolve it so that it doesnt hurt anyone in the end. we take our relationship very seriously because we want to be with each other until the end of time. to do that, you should know your partner and know what you can gain or lose from the relationship whether it be good or bad. you should know if you can handle that and handle building a future together and making sure that the 2 of you can work things out and still love each other.

you cant predict how long your relationship will work, but if the love and devotion is there... then you'll want to make sure you can do anything to make it last.

I am with my boyfriend of seven months practically all of the time and we chat on the phone quite often during the week. If your boyfriend doesn't spend enought time with you and complains that he is busy, then maybe you should find someone who is willing to spend the extra time with you.

its not about how often u talk with your partner....its about the chemistry and qualities...if he doesn't have time for you...why bother...because you can be with someone much better who will treat you like your the onli person in the world that matter...and thats what you should have...don't waste time trying 2 change someone if they r not willing...trust me...you will find someone better.......
