my puppy is about 7-8 month old. she just got her period, bout 2 weeks ago...and shes still bleeding. how long will this last?

If she's still bleeding after two weeks, I don't think it's her period anymore. Take her to a vet and let her get checked out- the smaller the dog the less blood they have to lose.

Dogs go through a 3 week heat. The first week they bleed quite a bit.....they will normally bleed through some of the second week...then the discharge will become a different color (yellowish brown) and that will last through till the end of the heat...about three weeks. If the bleeding continues and doesn't let up...you should have her vet checked. All dogs are different, so some bleed less and some bleed more, but better safe then sorry.
