Headache and nausea can be signs of a brain tumor but are much more commonly caused by or symptoms of something else.
Brain tumors are often found a "incidental findings." Meaning, they are found when something else was being searched for. Some signs of a brain tumor can be; changes in personality, sudden vision change, persistent vertigo, changes in mobility, pressure within the head and or neck.
A cyst in the brain can also cause these symptoms, but most brain cysts are benign and most do not cause symptoms.
Best wishes to your cousin.
Here's some info from a link:
Symptoms depend mainly on the location of the tumor. Many of the early symptoms of brain tumors result from pressure on nearby areas of the brain, either from the mass itself or from the tumor blocking the normal flow of cerebrospinal fluid. This can cause symptoms such as nausea, vomiting and excessive sleepiness. However, many common childhood diseases cause similar symptoms, so a brain tumor may not be the first thing your pediatrician suspects. If double or blurry vision, seizures, or weakness affecting one side of the body or face also occur, the possibility of a brain tumor increases.
Later symptoms may include loss of coordination, trouble with vision or hearing, behavior changes, weakness on one side of the body, or trouble with balance.

If you had a tumor growing "on" your head you could probably feel it. If the tumor is inside your head, growing on or inside your brain, you would be affected in different ways, depending which part of the brain it is situated. Different parts of the brain affect different functions of the body; sight, hearing, walking, talking, balance, art, math and on and on. It could cause headaches or nausea. Check out www.webmd. It will certainly not diagnose her problem but could answer a few questions for her. I will pray for her situation.

I would wait for the test results, but my friend's little boy had a brain tumor, and he complained of headaches and pain when he moved his head a certain way (his was at the base of his brain).
