There are tons of guys who can bench press 400 pounds who can't do even one pull up or 20 push ups. In the dojo, judo, these kind of guys last seconds before the lactic acid builds up in their muscles and they became wet noodles. Ditch digging strength is far more valuable in real life than strength to lift a truck one time. Enduring strength is far more valuable than short lived strength. You are working on endurance strength. Do you want to do 100+ push ups all at one time? http://www.impulseadventure.com/weights/100push.html

Take a guess. Strengthen your arms? That's right!
Try to raise the amount you do over time or it'll get too easy and you won't progress. Good luck!
