can someone send me a link to a website that shows the differences between the High Defintion signals?

Like show images of what a 480p, 720p and 1080i or 1080p look's like?

And, honestly do normal people really see a difference in picture?

Yes they do see a difference. 1080p is the best, but there isn't much programming being broadcast in it yet. I have a 1080i, and it definetly looks better than 720. The numbers are about how many lines of information are contained in an image and the letter is about how and how often the image is refreshed.

1080p and 1080i has the most pixels. More pixels=clearer picture.
