its quite simple, as long there is humans. They will be wars. The world must balance itself in hate and love. If we do not have hate, we do not have love. If we do not have love, we do not have hate. The world and mankind must balance itself. If one side of the balances is tipped too much, it will be chaos.

We are fighting an enemy that knows no borders. Most of the fighting our soldiers are doing is not against Iraqi's but foreign fighters. They not only have attacked us at least 10 times over the years but the attacks keep getting bigger as they gain power and money. They have openly declared war on us and to this day say they will continue till we are subdued and they can force their law (sharia) on us. They will not stop because it is commanded in their religion and they are fanatical about it. For years as they attacked us abroad we did almost nothing even the first WTC attack we did nothing. Make no mistake, they are coming and we can close our eyes and not listen to what they are telling us as many did about Hitler early on and believed false promised then and we will wake up one day to a nuclear holocaust in our land. We must keep after them and those who support them with things like weapons ,nukes whatever. This war will not go away no matter what we do or wish, it is here to stay for a long time. The only question is who will win. They are way ahead of us in determination. Muslim fanaticism is nothing new or their desire to conquer the world for Allah. We must learn from history or repeat its mistakes.

Pacifism is completely contrary to the human condition. People are evil by nature. A nation full of evil people will fight over natural resources (Diamond conflicts in Sierra Leone), invent political philosophies that motivate them to invade other countries (Nazis, Soviets), and engage in ethnic cleansing (Hutus vs. Tutsis in Rwanda, massacre of Muslims in Bosnia, Holocaust ect. ad naseum). Sometimes the only way to stop the desire to harm others is to take away their ability to fight, usually by waging a war against them. War is sometimes good, sometimes bad, and always ugly.

Because a few people told them too, and the masses always fall for it. If they started a war, and nobody showed up, obviously they couldn't have one. So, the masses are either stupid, or they like killing each other.

to gain more power
to stop some one else from gaining more power
to kill a group of people you dislike
to stop some one from killing you
to stop some one from killing someone you like
to civilise some one you concider uncivilised (you know as a favour, gotta be cruel to be kind)
to secure future properity
