God put a smile on your face by coldplay,
Where do we go nobody knows.........
Makes me wonder where the soul of my dead brother has gone,
I hope he's watching me from above

The most emotional speech has to be Martin Luther King's "I Have A Dream Speech" - every time I hear it the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
I also agree with the poster who suggested W.H. Auden's "Turn Back The Clocks" - the scene in Four Weddings and A Funeral when John Hannah delivers this at the funeral is so moving, and was worth an Oscar in its own right.
The most emotional lyrics for me are Eva Cassidy singing "Somewhere Over The Rainbow": such an optimistic song, and yet when you listen to it you know that Eva died so young and suffered so much in her tragically short life.
Finally I always moved by the oration at the end of Rembrance Day services:
"They shall not grow old
As we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them
Or the years condemn
At the going down of the sun
And in the morning,
We will remember them"
Not only do I think of all those young men who gave their lives for our freedom, but of a friend who was held captive by the Japanese and suffered nightmares for the rest of his life.

Two come to mind. The first by Martin Luther King, Jr in which he was hoping for a day when men would be judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin. It is called the "I have a dream!" speech.
The second was by President Ronald W. Reagan when he spoke in Berlin and was talking about the Berlin Wall. Aiming his remarks to the then President of the fomer Soviet Union, Reagan said, "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!"

I think right now, at this point in my life, having just got over ...still recovering from....a broken heart, the sayings or phrases that deal with love get me the most emotional
You don't die from a broken heart, you only wish you did
Giving up doesn't always mean you are weak;sometimes it means that you are strong enough to let go
That and one of my fav quotes from a movie
The worst mistake you can make is to think your alive when really you're asleep in life's waiting room

Wow, y'know, I had to memorize that poem for my English class last year.
To be honest, the most emotional speeches, phrases, and lyrics are...my own.

Enoch Powells Rivers of blood speech, This is now being shown that what he said is becoming true. I expect that I will now get the P.C. hate brigade on at me? I am not racist but a realist.
