If your looking for cheap and reliable you could get a Honda Civic, used, for really really cheap. They are cheap and reliable cars.

If your looking into getting a new car and still want a cheap one you could get a toyota yaris or a scion. Either one is great. The reports are excellent on both cars.

If your parents are like mine they would want you in a safe are. if thats the deal, and your willing to spend a little more money, you could get a volkswagon Jetta or Passat. Both are safe, reliable cars.

Good Luck!

Toyota Corolla. Used. 1980's.

I had a 1982 Toyota Corolla wagon. Great car, fit all my crap in it for college, and when I rolled it in a snow-storm it was tough enough to drive again afterwards. I loved this car...and it was roomy enough to drag all my buddies around in.
