I have thick coarse curly hair and it's almost impossible for me to be completely frizz free, but I do do things to keep the frizz at bay. I only brush my hair while I'm washing it (in the shower), and then a quick brush through while it's still wet before I style it. Then I put a leave in conditioner in, followed by mousse and some curl defining gel. Then leave it alone! Any touching makes encourages frizz. Product wise I really like thick conditioners like Sunsilk's DePoof or DeFrizz. Dove is nice too.

hello, i use John Frieda's Frizz Ease, and it works miracles! It really depends on which one. There at least 4 steps of this. There is shampoo and conditioner. There is also one that is for just some "touch-ups". Or you can use what i use. Which is the fourth step. All you do is spray a generous amount all over your hair after you get out of the shower. Make sure your hair is dry, form a towel. After you spray it in, use a brush and go through your hair, while blow drying.

ZeroFrizz is good. John Frieda (spelling?) is really great also. Look for a product that you apply to your hair that has silicone in it. These products seem to work better if your hair is soaking wet when you apply them right after you have shampooed. Good luck

I tell this to everyone....Products,products,products...you need a styling PASTE a cream based product to add weight to the hair..mousse and gel wont add weight it will just add to the "poof" you are referring to. To wear it curly and keep it smooth you need to also use a defusser on the lowest setting on your dryer

Rub olive oil generously into it about ten minutes before you shampoo.
