The following verses from the Upanishad allude to the inability of man to imagine God in a particular form:

"Na samdrse tisthati rupam asya, na caksusa pasyati kas canainam."

"His form is not to be seen; no one sees Him with the eye."
[Svetasvatara Upanishad 4:20]4

Because that's what Hindus do. They make idols and worship them.

whats the question?, if this text is from an Hindu prospective, than there probably is a strong reason for having such texts. (Hinduism is an old way of life, it may get confusing) and if its from another follower of faith than u are looking at a whole different thought, and using it against another.

One thing is strait though, everyone has a way for showing their respect and love to God. You shouldn't really try to go against them so negatively, or judge ones faith. I would say its non of your business.
